UNESCO has provided support to the Internet Listeners Club and Kothmale Community Radio Station for over 10yrs. They have provided financial assistance and expertise to the project that concentrate on the areas of research and local content development. They are also a partner in the Finding a Voice research network.

Pan Asia Networking ICT R&D Grant
The grant provided the initial financial support to the project which has assisted with the capital expenses, research, connectivity and operating costs. The funds for the ICT R&D Grants are provided by the Pan Asia Networking Program of the International Development Research Centre (IDRC), the Asia-Pacific Development Information Programme (APDIP) of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and the Asia Pacific Network Information Center (APNIC). The Programme is administered by Asian Media Information and Communication Centre (AMIC).

Suntel provide the wireless CDMA internet and phone connectivity to the etuktuk. The company is a telecom solutions provider with an all digital network that provides extensive coverage to remote and rural areas in the Kothmale region.

Information Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka (ICTA)
The ICTA provide management training, knowledge resources and internet connectivity to the Kothmale Community Multimedia Centre through support from the Nanasala Rural Knowledge Centre initiative.

The SLBC provide institutional support to the project, space and utilities for the Community Multimedia Centre to operate.

Finding a Voice
